The Boho Belt is Back

The year is 2014, Vanessa Hudgens floats around Coachella arm in arm with a relatively  unknown Austin Butler, a massive disc belt sits over her low rise denim mini shorts transporting every millennial with a pulse back to the previous decade. Simpler times. 

The Belt became The Belt, in 2004 when Roberto Cavalli debuted his SS 2005 collection. Anyone born between 1985-1995 with a Vogue subscription will tell you this was THE accessory. But, like most trends, one day it kind of just disappeared (waisted away if you will…). 

Flash forward to this past weekend in Indio where according to TikTok there were several sightings of the boho chic staple. Brace yourself before reading this…but, we regret to inform you, like it or not: The BELT IS BACK.
